Hello! I'm Renato
I am a Product & UX/UI Designer specialized in accessibility, and a former developer. Outside of work hours, I enjoy drawing, dancing, and traveling to any unknown place.
I was born in Peru, grew up in Spain, and studied and worked in Finland and Denmark. I love meeting people from all corners of the world and learning about their stories and projects.
A little bit about me
Since 2021, I have been working at GLS Spain, within the Iberia Innovation department. I am responsible for the design of the digital products used internally to improve the efficiency and operations of both the company and its clients. I have also worked with GLS Denmark as part of a pilot project to foster collaboration between the countries where the company operates.
Before that, I was at Vipera Ibérica S.L., working with Banco Santander on their PagoFX project for international transfers. I was responsible for designing the onboarding process for businesses and individuals, with a greater focus on KYB and KYC processes.
But before starting to work in design roles, I was a full-stack developer at the startup Bridge for Billions. I started working on the front-end, building the application from scratch, and then moved to a full-stack position where I was responsible for integrating new modules into the product.
Outside of office hours, I always try to do things that don’t require screens, but I often don’t succeed 🤷🏽♂️
I dedicate time to researching and testing new technologies, looking for gadgets on Amazon, trying to learn latte art, dancing, and searching for routes for the next road trip.
Here is my CV. Take a look and feel free to contact me to work together.
